RIGHT vs. LEFT
Right and left. Two political forces charging at each other? Not even close. I’m referring to my arm pits. As I’ve aged (which I’m doing right now as you read this) I have found that a great inequality has fallen on my underarms. My right pit tends to stink more than my left. Thanks to the internet I’ve found that there are many people who share this affliction. people who have found a way to manage a balanced life despite the war being waged right beneath their arms.
Moving on, I’ve just completed work on Bri-anne Swan’s EP. It was brisk work and even though we had difficulty matching up our schedules we managed to start and finish within a couple of weeks. It’s off for manufacturing today.
This past weekend we (Prince Perry and The Gladtones) played at the Montreal Skafest fundraiser at Le Petit Campus on the Plateau. It was a great opportunity to see some bands again and some friends. Unfortunately the trip was short. We left the next morning and I arrived just in time to record Young Running (formerly Here, Comes the Cavalry) live off the floor.
We played a couple of Prince Perry shows the week before and I was shown this little clip.
This Robert Fripp bit takes me back to the time when I was in Grade 7 and tried to get tickets to see a demo of Frippertronics. It was sold out too quickly and I’ve lived with that hole in my life ever since… until now.
Hard to find decent clips of Nomeansno. Never caught them live either.

Al! Thanks for making my life a little more complete – well, done on the archiving – sheesh, a whole lotta work. The Tamara shows are random, but I can droop you a line if she puts one together again.
