May 8 – DOTAGE

dotage |ˈdōtij|
noun [in sing. ]
the period of life in which a person is old and weak : you could live here and look after me in my dotage.
• the state of having the intellect impaired, esp. through old age; senility.
Today I had a vocal session with Melanie Peterson. Wrote and recorded a new song for a submission. Felt like I was buying a lottery ticket. But I like the new song, got to play some pump organ on the recording. I’m not very good at it, but it’s one of those parts that sits very comfortably in the back of the mix. Spent time working on Prince Perry songs – learning them – lots of new material and we had a rehearsal with 4/5 of the band. Feeling it slowly glue together.
